TRAVERTINE - CALCE MARMORINO - DAMASCATO EFFECT - HOW-TO VIDEOS
MFA CLASSIC | MFA PLUS
priming
Prime absorbent (stable) substrate using MFA Classic concentrate diluted 1:3 with water. Apply primer with a wide brush, working it well into the substrate. Priming strengthens the substrate and improves adhesiveness and coverage of further coats.
Prime absorbent (weak) substrates and surfaces of old walls with MFA PLUS diluted max. 1:3 with water. Apply primer with a wide brush, working it well into the substrate. Deeply penetrating and binding the substrate, priming strengthens it, reduces excessive absorbency, and improves the coverage of further coats.

BUCCIATO E
quartz primer
When applied as quartz primer, Bucciato E must be diluted with 30% of water and stirred thoroughly. Apply with a wide brush, according to the direction of the decorative coat to be created. Created quartz coat will increase adhesiveness and facilitate application of further coats.

CALCE MARMORINO
base coat
Stir Calce Marmorino thoroughly before applying each layer. Distribute a base layer of plaster with an INOX trowel, creating a grain–thick layer and smoothing out with a trowel, pressing it flat against the substrate. The work should be performed in stages until the whole surface is covered. After application, leave to dry.

CALCE MARMORINO
decorative coat
When dry, apply another layer in horizontal stripes, leaving gaps between layers. Create pits on the edges by pattering a hard brush against the surface. Fill the gaps alternatingly using the Damascato effect, tearing off the compound with another trowel repeatedly. It allows you to create a pattern on the trowel that you can later apply to the substrate to achieve a regular pattern. Change the way you hold the trowel frequently during application to avoid a symmetrical and uniform pattern. Approx. 20 minutes after application (depending on the temperature), smooth out the plaster with a trowel (holding it flat against the surface) before it dries. The work should be performed in stages.

LUMICCA INCOLORE
preservation
Lumicca Incolore primes and preserves the substrate. Before commencing work, dilute 1:1, max. 1:1.5 with water and stir thoroughly. Apply with a wide brush and distribute with euromal evenly, according to the direction of previously created pattern. Remove excessive preservative using a cotton cloth, in particular from pits. The work should be performed in stages until the whole surface is covered.

TRAVERTINE - CALCE MARMORINO WITH DAMASCATO EFFECT
Whole system
Innovative and elegant effect of natural travertine, can be pigmented in accordance with catalogue colours, pastel, or some of the intense colours. Provides an elegant and noble finish that creates an interesting, interfusing 3-dimensional matt and satin texture. Complements all designs, makes them more vivid and adds a finishing touch. Creates an alkaline environment and facilitates easy removal of moisture from the walls in order to prevent fungi, moulds, and other micro-organisms from growing. Application requires a flat and well-prepared substrate. Made of ecological, fine-grained Calce Marmorino mineral plaster. The product dries quickly, therefore the second layer can be applied to the first, drying one. This gives us more time to work on the material, crucial while applying the plaster to large surfaces. Intended for indoor and outdoor use. We recommend coating the final effect with Lumicca Incolore preservative paint (twice if outdoors) in order to bring out the pattern subtly ...
