TRAVERTINE - CALCE MARMORINO - ANCIENT PATTERN WITH VEINS - HOW-TO VIDEOS
MFA CLASSIC | MFA PLUS
priming
Prime absorbent (stable) substrate using MFA Classic concentrate diluted 1:3 with water. Apply primer with a wide brush, working it well into the substrate. Priming strengthens the substrate and improves adhesiveness and coverage of further coats.
Prime absorbent (weak) substrates and surfaces of old walls with MFA PLUS diluted max. 1:3 with water. Apply primer with a wide brush, working it well into the substrate. Deeply penetrating and binding the substrate, priming strengthens it, reduces excessive absorbency, and improves the coverage of further coats.

BUCCIATO E
quartz primer
When applied as quartz primer, Bucciato E must be diluted with 30% of water and stirred thoroughly. Apply with a wide brush, according to the direction of the decorative coat to be created. Created quartz coat will increase adhesiveness and facilitate application of further coats.

CALCE MARMORINO
veins
Stir Calce Marmorino thoroughly before use. Apply Calce Marmorino to the substrate using a putty knife or a dispenser gun filled with the compound, creating subtle veins.

CALCE MARMORINO
decorative coat
Smooth the ridges with a putty knife. Stir Calce Marmorino thoroughly before use. Apply and distribute an appropriate amount evenly using a metal trowel to a small area. Press the tool against the surface of a fresh coat and trowel along the veins to produce an irregular texture. Depending on the temperature, smooth the surface before it dries with an INOX trowel, holding it flat against the surface. The work should be performed in stages, applying the compound to small areas until the whole surface is covered.

LUMICCA INCOLORE
preservation
Lumicca Incolore primes and preserves the substrate. Before commencing work, dilute 1:1, max. 1:1.5 with water and stir thoroughly. Apply with a wide brush and distribute with euromal evenly, according to the direction of previously created pattern. Remove excessive preservative using a cotton cloth, in particular from pits. The work should be performed in stages until the whole surface is covered.

LUMMICCA BAZA
emphasising the texture, additional preservation
Transparent Lumicca Base in an appropriate colour can be applied to emphasise the texture of decorative effects. Usually, it is an optional product, selected according to the desired finish. Before commencing work, it must be diluted with 30 – 50% of water and stirred thoroughly. Apply with a paint brush or euromal, removing excessive paint with a cotton cloth. Distribute according to the direction of previously applied pattern. Depending on the desired effect, apply one or more colours to a small area or the whole surface. Lumicca Base provides additional preservation to improve resistance.

ANTIQUE TRAVERTINE – WITH VEINS
Whole system
This effect is created using one of the most durable and practical types of slake limebased stucco wiped with darker Lumicca Base transparent paint (after preservation with transparent Lumicca Incolore). Such a combination allows us to create the desired old and antique finish. The product is completely ecological and highly diffusive, can be used indoors (both in classical and contemporary interiors) and outdoors. Natural components provide excellent water vapour permeability and resistance to growth of fungi and moulds. Perfect for interiors exposed to water vapour, such as kitchens, bathrooms, and busy public interiors. It decorates and preserves the substrate, which makes it perfect for places exposed to dirt. A wide variety of colours and patterns which can be created gives unlimited possibilities to architects, interior designers and decorators. Easy to preserve, resistant to washing and scrubbing. The surface is highly resistant to washing and scrubbing.
