Prime absorbent (weak) substrates and surfaces of old walls with MFA PLUS diluted max. 1:3 with water. Apply primer with a wide brush, working it well into the substrate. Deeply penetrating and binding the substrate, priming strengthens it, reduces excessive absorbency, and improves the coverage of further coats.

We recommend diluting PRIMER E quartz primer with 10 – 15% of water and applying with a wide brush, according to the direction of the desired decorative coat. Created quartz coat will increase adhesiveness and facilitate application of further coats.

Mix component A (resin) with component B (catalytic agent) and stir thoroughly. Add component C (powder) and stir again. Apply plaster with a trowel to the prepared areas. Create the desired effect of wood rings, moving the Legnato rubber stamp in alternating directions. The work should be performed in cycles. Use the technique to apply vertical and horizontal pattern. Use prepared material within 2 hours.

Depending on the texture, start by smoothing the ridges on the surface with sandpaper such as P320. Next, use non–woven abrasive (fine 320) to polish all pits. If the substrate is smooth, start by grinding with non–woven abrasive. To provide the desired afterglow, we recommend grinding the coat with the following types of sandpaper (in order): P320, P400, P800 and P1500. The coat can be additionally smoothed using an Inox trowel until the desired gloss is achieved. Throughout the process, grind Metalfin mechanically at slow speed. The finish depends on the User who must select the working time and type of sandpaper individually.
