RUSTICON - OLD WALL EFFECT - HOW-TO VIDEOS
MFA CLASSIC | MFA PLUS
priming
Prime absorbent (stable) substrate using MFA Classic concentrate diluted 1:4 with water. Apply primer with a wide brush, working it well into the substrate. Priming strengthens the substrate and improves adhesiveness and coverage of further coats.
Prime absorbent (weak) substrates and surfaces of old walls with MFA PLUS diluted max. 1:3 with water. Apply primer with a wide brush, working it well into the substrate. Deeply penetrating and binding the substrate, priming strengthens it, reduces excessive absorbency, and improves the coverage of further coats.

MFA WHITE
priming (optional layer)
MFA WHITE – white primer, can be pigmented. Recommended before painting to make the substrate uniform, in particular when applying a new colour to walls. Intended for intense colours of low covering properties. Dilute with max. 100% of water, apply with a wide brush, working it well into the substrate. Can be applied using a roller without diluting as internal paint or priming base.

MURIMAL 200
base coat
Apply the first layer of paint (diluted with 5 – 15% of water, depending on the base colour) to a well–prepared substrate. First, paint areas unavailable to a large roller (internal corners, areas close to the skirting boards, power outlets, etc.). Apply paint at a uniform rate from top to bottom in one go. Make sure to evaluate the quality constantly and avoid touch–ups on the drying layer.

RUSTICON
base coat - structural layer
Rusticon is intended for creating textures. When applied with a wide brush, dilute with 20% of water. Apply Rusticon to the surface to cover the substrate, leaving visible transparent spots. Apply with a brush, creating the pattern in a chosen direction. Rusticon is applied in stages, combining the layers until the whole surface is covered.

RUSTICON
base coat - structural layer
The second layer may be in the same or another colour tone. Apply Rusticon to level the surface. Apply with a brush, creating the pattern in a chosen direction. Rusticon is applied in stages, combining the layers until the whole surface is covered.

LUMICCA INCOLORE
preservation
Lumicca Incolore primes and preserves the substrate. Before commencing work, dilute 1:1, max. 1:1.5 with water and stir thoroughly. Apply with a wide brush and distribute with euromal evenly, according to the direction of previously created pattern. Remove excessive preservative using a cotton cloth, in particular from pits. The work should be performed in stages until the whole surface is covered.

RUSTICON OLD WALL EFFECT
Whole system
Can be used to provide various effects, from matt to satin and pearlescent, depending on the ECORSON decorative paint: Lumicca Antica, Cromo, Corado, Luna, Revello, Impresja, Lumicenta etc., and on the nature of the interior and desired atmosphere. Produced using Rusticon plaster that enables you to create a smooth or textured surface. Characterised by high ductility and easy application, it can be used to apply a thick texture. Contains special fibres that make it flexible and resistant to microcracks and mechanical damage.
