MURICON
base coat - structural layer
Halley texture is created using Muricon plaster. Using a trowel,
apply as much as needed to produce the texture. Using a special
roller with a thick layer of film, create the texture and distribute the
compound evenly. Move the trowel in different directions to
produce the desired texture. The work should be performed in
stages and repeated in cycles. Using a stainless steel trowel,
smooth certain areas by creating diagonal stripes.
To produce Halley effect, paint does not require diluting. Apply as
much paint as needed with a masonry brush to produce the
texture. Using a special roller with a thick layer of film, distribute
the paint in multiple directions to produce a uniform texture.
Continue until the whole surface is finished. Smooth small areas
using an INOX trowel.
